Beverly Hills Residence of many stars!
Cloudless deep blue sky, palm-fringed streets, beautiful sunsets, and then an overwhelming sea of lights. This is the luxurious city of Beverly Hills, home to many celebrities.
Located in the heart of Los Angeles, just a few minutes drive from Hollywood, this independent city offers everything tourists can think of in terms of glamor and glamor. Due to its proximity to Hollywood, the place is often used by the Hollywood studios as a filming location and was film set for, for example, Beverly Hills Cop, Pretty Woman or Beverly Hills, 90210. Driving through Beverly Hills in search of the stars' houses is a very popular tourist pastime.
Booking such a city tour, which brings one to the celebrity stars of the stars, who live here in large numbers, we did not need that. We were fortunate enough to see Beverly Hills by a true Beverly Hill cop, one who personally knew many stars and starlets, and even appeared on Beverly Hill Cop II. My son's father-in-law, a former Beverly Hills cop, took us on a tour of Beverly Hills and it was a beautiful trip to the rich world.
He can be seen on the screen at the bottom right. He gave the original jacket from the movie to my son, who is really proud of it.
He took us to a yellow Union Pacific railroad car on Sunset Boulevard to have a bite to eat. He told us that in 1975 he was transported to this spot on the Sunset Strip and turned into a restaurant. We looked for a window seat overlooking the Sunset Strip and ate hot dogs with sauerkraut or red cabbage which he recommended.
After the meal we went on tour to the houses of the stars and everyone knew our companion something interesting and also enviable to tell. Who would not have liked to take a break during his night shift with one or the other celebrity? Or, if he drank a coke with him in front of his garage and ate a burger. He also told us about his regular restaurant visits with well-known stars from the fim and music scene. You would have been happy sometimes.
We saw the houses and gardens of Frank Sinatra, Lucie, Ozzy Osbourne, Jackie Chan, Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg, Cher and many others.
Also known as the Pink Palace , the Beverly Hills Hotel is known for its many celebrity guests and offers luxurious ambience in a gorgeous beautifully landscaped setting. It is nestled in a huge, lush 12-acre tropical garden with many exotic plants.
In it are distributed 23 bungalows in which movie icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlene Dietrich lived.
Also musicians like John Lennon with his wife Yoko Ono were guests there and many more.
The Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is known worldwide as an expensive and worth seeing shopping street in the heart of LA. Probably even one of the most expensive streets in the world. There, one luxury boutique joins the other and rich shopping there is already evident in the noble luxury cars, which are parked on the roadsides.
The black and yellow Bijan Bugatti Veyron of about $ 1,700,000 by late fashion designer Bijan Pakzad, standing in front of the Bijang boutique.
Also Julia Roberts, the Vivian in the movie Pretty Woman went shopping here. The Rodeo Drive at Beverly Hill s leads directly to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel where the movie was shot in part.
The hotel is located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive. It is very luxurious and elegant and has a fantastic location right in the heart of Beverly Hills. The hotel consists of two buildings, the original and the newer about 10 floor high construction. These two are connected by a bridge on the second floor. Surely you would like to immerse yourself in this world of luxury like Vivian and experience magical moments against the wonderful backdrop of the city of Los Angeles.
The tour ended with the Beverly Hills Civic Center. There is the town hall, the police and the fire department. It is located in the heart of the city on Santa Monica Boulevard surrounded by beautiful promenades, gardens and parks. There you can walk comfortably between the different buildings.
What impressed me about Beverly Hills was the cleanliness everywhere. I also think that there are no shops, no industry and no advertising posters in residential areas.
