Shop at the Hollywood and Highland Center right on the Walk of Fame
When we are in Los Angeles, we like to go shopping extensively, because there are really enough ways to get rid of your money. If you have a bigger budget, you can find it in the luxury shops on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills or in the Commons Calabasas. But we prefer big shopping malls, outlets like Citadel or Camarillo and outdoor malls, which are in large numbers. There it is also more affordable, the wallet is not too charged and even for less money you will find something beautiful. We love to visit The Grove at the Farmersmarket or the Hollywood and Highland Center right in the heart of Hollywood.
The Hollywood and Highland is right on the Walk of Fame. From there, stairs lead to the three-storey, 36,000 square meter shopping center. Of course, this includes the Kodak Theater and the TCL Chinese Theater.
Hollywood and Highland Center impressive shopping pleasure!
There are more than 70 shops and boutiques in the shopping center, everything from jewelery and clothing to gift shops and cosmetics. Well-known names such as Victoria's Secret, Guess, Hard Rock Cafe, Louis Vuitton, Sephora and Skechers are represented here. For the physical well-being is of course also taken care of, in the mall there are also numerous restaurants, whose visit is worthwhile. There are delicious pizza and salad at California Pizza Kitchen, juicy steaks at Dave Buster's and fantastic burgers at Johnny Rockets. If you like something sweet, get an ice cream in the Cold Stone Creamery or a waffle at Wafflejack.
Everything is quite impressive and generously designed and the many outdoor seating areas invite you to rest. From here you have a beautiful view of the square with the water fountains and on the people and the hustle and bustle around it.
Worth seeing are the two sitting on high columns, huge imposing white elephant statues.
Great view of the Hollywood Hills and the Hollywood Sign!
To the east is a huge gate. From there you have a very good view of the Hollywood Hills and the famous Hollywood Sign. But the best way to go up to the 2nd or 3rd floor, as the view from the top is simply fantastic.
On the top terrace you should get away from the hustle and bustle and go to the wall to the very edge. Unexpectedly, it offers a unique view of the LA skyline and the Walk of Fame.
Up there, away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood Boulevard, is the perfect place to take great photos. With a telephoto lens, for example, you can watch Edward with his scissorhands. Also X Men, Batman, Micki and Minni Mouse, etc. can be photographed well from up there.
A visit to the Hollywood and Highland Center is in my opinion definitely recommended. Narürlich there is also a large underground car park where you can park the car.
