Carneys Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles!

My son's father-in-law, a former Beverly Hills cop, has been touring Beverly Hills with us. We have seen many houses of famous stars up close and our guide could also tell us some interesting anecdotes. There was funny and enviable, but always very interesting to hear.

I would have loved to take a break on his night shift with Ozzy Osborn and drink Coke with him in front of his garage. He also told us about his restaurant visits with celebs and showed us pictures where he can be seen with them.

By the way, he played Copa II in Beverly Hills, so who better showed us Beverly Hills than he did.

Of course we needed a little break in between to have a snack.

We thought that was a joke, but it was meant seriously!

Our guide took us to a yellow Union Pacific railroad car on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. He explained to us that in 1975 he had been transported to this spot on the Sunset Strip and turned into a popular restaurant.

Carneys Restaurant, perfect location on Sunset Boulevard!

The yellow railroad car has a perfect location right on Sunset Boulevard.

We were lucky, in the parking lot in front of the wagon we found another free seat. From there, a ramp leads up, which is also suitable for wheelchairs and strollers.

When you enter Carney's restaurant, you can see historical pictures hanging on the walls everywhere. A little further, in the middle of the car, there is the counter where you can order your food.

Carneys offers a large selection of burgers, hot dogs, wraps, salads, French fries, but sandwiches of ice cream and drinks. The restaurant is known for its chili burgers and chili hot dogs, and there are even sweet potato chips. We were told that even Elvis Presley got his hot dogs and burgers there.

We chose hot dogs with red cabbage and sauerkraut.

We looked for a window seat overlooking Sunset Boulevard. So we were able to watch the bustle and the driving along luxury cars while eating. Whether Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls Royce and Lamborghini, also Startourbusse were on the way. The many illuminated billboards were also very interesting and worth seeing.

It was a lot of fun watching everything!

Excellent food, good price, great views, good service, friendly staff, fun atmosphere! What more do you want?

Take a look, Carney's restaurant on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles is something special.
