By a reasonable price offer we decided to spend our stay in Las Vegas in the hotel Bally's. The location of Hotel Bally's Las Vegas is superb, right on the Strip, next to the Hotel Paris and across from the Flamingo and the Bellagio. The other well-known and important hotels we could easily reach from there on foot.
At the reception of the Hotel Bally's Las Vegas were the staff very polite, it was quite fast and our desire for a room as high as possible was fulfilled.
We got a room on the 18th floor and this was large with good facilities. For example, there was a flat-screen TV with cable and movies and even an ironing board and attached iron in the closet. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with a bath, extra shower and everything else that is usual in Las Vegas hotels.
We had a good view of the Hotel Bellagio and could admire the famous water features in front of the hotel, without having to leave the room. The Las Vegas Highroller was also good to see from the room. This is brightly lit at night with more than 2,000 LED lights and offers a fantastic view.
It was a pity that you did not open the window and therefore could not use the small balcony. Sitting there with a glass of wine while enjoying the view of Las Vegas at night would have been a highlight.
The casino at Hotel Bally's Las Vegas is a bit smaller than other theme hotels on the Strip, but there you can win and lose a euro or two.
If you prefer a larger casino, you have direct access to the casino from the hotel Paris. If you want to play poker tournaments like we do, you just walk across the street to the Hotel Flamingo. The tournaments are not as high priced there as in other hotels and also manageable on the number of participants.
At Hotel Bally's we got a coupon for a complimentary breakfast worth $ 9 per person. But you could buy at a booth opposite the reception American pastries, coffee and juices. We had learned from other guests that there is a rich breakfast buffet at the Hotel Flamingo for just under $ 20.
At the Paradise Garden Buffet we had an all you can eat buffet including drinks. There was a large selection of hot and cold dishes. From fruits, vegetables, salads, cheeses to sweets such as omelettes, ice cream and cakes everything was there. The price included of course all drinks coffee and even champagne.
We were lucky and found a window seat in the surrounding rooms of the restaurant. There we could watch the flamingos in the garden of the hotel while having breakfast.
Clean, spacious rooms, typical casino and small pool. But you can also use the larger pool areas of the Hotel Paris or Planet Hollywood.
As in all the hotels on the Strip, there is a sidewalk, so you can get away from the surrounding hotels and casinos without having to hit the road.
Hotel Bally's is not the newest hotel on the Strip and it's getting a bit dated, but we would stay there again anytime.
For the price you will hardly find a better hotel in Las Vegas.
