Where is the CityWalk in Los Angeles?

100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608, United States

The CityWalk in Los Angeles is a popular outdoor mall and is located directly at Universal Studios. The entrance is free and it offers itself to there after the visit of the studios to eat something or simply to stroll through the many shops.

Even without visiting Universal Studios, the CityWalk is always a popular destination for us. There is also a great movie theater where you can always watch good movies or premieres like The Walking Dead.

Here we are looking especially for special souvenirs for our loved ones at home. At about 30 shops there is enough choice and always something for everyone.

In the souvenir shops you can see funny and sometimes curious articles about the themes of the Universal Studios, the shoes of Forrest Gump, a funny hat for the Minions, or for Crow's Nest Toys a cute cat's goggle.

Immerse yourself in Harry Potter's New Wizarding World at the Universal CityWalk Los Angeles Studio Store.

In a dim atmosphere you will find everything there to the theme world Harry Potter. There are bags and backpacks, ties, gloves and socks. Even whole robes can be bought there and of course many different t-shirts for adults and children. Also a lot of souvenirs like magnets, Hogward cups, key chains, watches and much more are available in a large selection. A dream for Harry Potter fans like my grandson and my daughter in Germany.

Alone for the Hard Rock Cafe worth the visit of the CityWalk in Los Angeles!

We love the Hard Rock Cafes, especially the one on the CityWalk. With the huge guitar in front of the door, it is already a real eye-catcher from the outside. When you enter, you are in a world of authentic music history. Everywhere guitars and clothes worn by famous musicians and above the bar hangs a cool vintage car. If you like hard rock and heavy metal and do not mind if it booms around with 5000 watts out of the speakers, then this is the place for you.

Take a stroll and then have a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants.

We often go with the family to eat there.

There are many restaurants on the CityWalk including SADDLE RANCH, BUCA DI BEPPO, BUBBA GUMP, JOHNNY ROCKETS and TONY ROMAS.

The well-known fast food chains such. Panda Express, KFC, Taco Bell and also Starbucks are represented here. So I do not need to give up my beloved Orange Chicken or Frappuccino.

For sweet tooth is of course also taken care of. There are loads of sweets like ice cream, popcorn, cinnamon rolls and candys in all colors, shapes and flavors.

Especially in the evening, there is an atmospheric atmosphere at the Universal CityWalk with the many lights and neon signs. Many people are out and about, visiting the bars or watching a movie in the cinema next to the Hard Rock Cafe.

Even without a visit to the park, the CityWalk in Los Angeles is well worth a visit at the universal studios.

Parking is sufficient, but unfortunately they are relatively expensive.

  • Okay I think I would buy myself dead !! the photos are ever inviting (and funny;)) and the Harry Potter store I would probably leave with few 100th of euros less ... Universal Studios are already a long time on my list, as is a bit shopping safely 😉

  • Wow that looks really great, I think I would leave too much money there too.
Too bad that it is so far away.

  • Dear Sigrid,

yes, here you can really get rid of a lot of money 😉 ... for me it's always the death of my purse. But I'm always on the lookout for original souvenirs and gifts and they can be found at your addresses.

    As always a great article!
    best regards

  • Wow, these pictures are impressive. Everything seems so huge. I can imagine that you can get rid of a lot of money here. I think I would like to dive into the Harry Potter Store and then try lots of sweets.
    best regards

  • Hello my love, Wow, super great pictures, that looks really awesome and after a lot of fun. LG Ronja

  • So all the restaurants could be stolen from me. I would find myself at the JellyBeans wall. That would be heaven on earth for me.
    Greetings Regina

  • Very cool! Since we were not yet we love such a shop. And at Bubba Gump I like to eat burgers 🙂

    best regards

  • Very nice contribution. Especially I would have interested in a cost list, because you can hardly make a picture of the price, if you are in the US only for vacation is and not exactly there live!

  • The Harry Potter store would probably be the death of my travel budget 😀
From the CityWalk I had no real idea, I only knew the word, now I finally know what's going on 🙂
    Best regards,
    Leni 🙂

  • Oh, how great. That sounds awesome. I'd really like to go to the US, but I'll save that when my kids are a bit bigger.

Terrific! I'm completely thrilled by your stories. Somehow I have left much more money than you! What is it? But I planned that in advance. 🙂
    Best regards,

    • Since we are there every year, I do not have to shop so much and I also get packages.
      best regards

  • Dear Sigrid,
At first, the many lights would kill me. But once used to it, I would not know which store I wanted to visit first.
But it would probably be the Harry Potter souvenir shop. I started reading the series and became a little fan already. (Better late than never!)
    Best regards

  • this definitely looks like a rewarding tour! In the future, I definitely plan to travel to San Francisco, as a road trip with a detour to LA would offer in any case - I'll remember 🙂

    Best regards too,
