Sweets and sweets in America , Americans love everything that is sweet and that starts with breakfast. In addition to the hearty breakfast (scrambled eggs and fried bacon), there is also the sweet breakfast. These include the classic pancakes, donuts in different flavors (for me, filled with vanilla puccing) , muffins,   Brownis and corn flakes with milk.

If you do not want to eat at home that is not a problem either. There are enough breakfast restaurants offering sweets. We like to go to the mall in Thousand Oaks there in the Cheescakefactory there are loads of delicious cakes and pies, also to take away.

America a paradise of sweets, you can see him candy shop opposite

It's not just children's eyes that shine when they enter a candy shop in the US with colorful candies and lollies. These shops are as colorful as the mix of sweets from many countries they sell. There you can buy everything imaginable in all shapes and colors and on every occasion.

Dainties of all kinds super presented

Inside a candy shop, you are overwhelmed by the variety of sweets and the design of the store.

There are twinkies, reese, biscuits, jellybeans, lollipops, chewing gum and many other goodies. Usually there are also German articles such as children Joy, Ritter Sport, Haribo Gummibärchen and Milka products. These are not very cheap, a children Joy costs $ 6.

There are of course many varieties of chocolate on offer and sometimes you can also watch the making of biscuits or chocolate-covered treats. The staff are always friendly, accommodating and nice, as is common in stores in the USA. There are samples of everything that interests you and you would like to try.

Sweets and sweets in America a paradise of sweets and sweet tooth

Amerikaner ihre Süßigkeiten an besonderen Tagen. America loves curious holidays so Americans celebrate their sweets on special days.

There is a National Candy Day , Gummy Drop Day and a National Chocolate Pudding Day . Day darf auf der Liste der kuriosen Feiertage nicht fehlen, wie noch viele andere mehr. Also, a National Brownie Day and an I Want Buttertoffee Day may not be missing on the list of curious holidays, as many others.

Only on the sidelines, because I find it funny, there is also a national Wiener Schnitzel and Bratwurst Day.

  • Since fits only one sentence: "The spin the Americans" D!
No, seriously, in America, you really get really blatant sweets to buy and it always fascinates me again and again! However, some are simply unessigeable for me because they are way too cute: S! But at least they always look cool 🙂

    Anna 🙂

  • Oh yes we always bring a lot of treats from the holiday. There are not many varieties of Oreo biscuits, for example, or Candy Corn 😀 is always a must

  • Dear Sigrid,

Oh, yes ... the candy paradise ... I'll tell you ... that's always my fate. I always eat everything at once ... terrible. Luckily we do not have so many seductions in Austria!

Greetings and have a nice evening!

  • Man (s) feed me with chewy candies 😛
If all this stuff were not so unhealthy ...? I love sweets, but I find the American sweets almost too sweet?

  • Good evening,
please do not show Naschi, at the moment I am again Naschisüchtig.

    Dearest greetings,

  • oh yes, the abundance of sweets seems to be incredibly big here! I am also such a sweet tooth, but I already have absolute favorites to which virtually nothing comes 😉

    Best regards too,
    ❤ Tina from http://www.liebewasist.com

    • That's the way I am, but every now and then I try something new. Unfortunately, the sweets in the US are usually too sweet.
      best regards
